Event Photographer Limburg: Sweet Sixteen party at the Boschmolenplas in Panheel
Last Saturday, I had the privilege of capturing the atmosphere as a photographer at a real Sweet Sixteen party. It was my first time handling such a photography assignment. The celebration was grand, featuring various canvas prints on the walls showcasing a photo shoot of the birthday person, a beautiful cake buffet with a large cake adorned with a crown, along with cake pops, doughnuts, and cupcakes. There was also a DJ and a sponsor wall where all the guests were photographed. Upon arrival, each guest received a pink champagne glass, and for the younger guests, there was non-alcoholic champagne. After everyone congratulated the birthday person and received their gifts, the atmosphere was filled with friendly chatter. I strolled around, capturing spontaneous photos of people laughing and dancing.
At half past nine, a surprise for the birthday person was organized in the form of a performance by Famke Louise. This was received with enthusiasm by all the girls. Together with Famke, they stood on stage, danced, sang, and, of course, took many photos and videos.
After the performance, the party continued with lots of dancing and singing. My role as the event photographer concluded around half past eleven, and I bid farewell to the birthday person and her parents.
The photos from this Sweet Sixteen party were carefully selected and individually edited by me before being sent to the parents as a memento of the incredibly enjoyable evening.
